Material
The material of serrated steel grating can be selected based on customer requirements and project budgets. Common materials include:
Q235 low carbon flat steel
304 stainless steel flat steel
316 stainless steel flat steel
Common Symbols
G: Hot-dip galvanized
P: Painted
U: No treatment
S: Flat steel is serrated
I: Flat steel is I-shaped
Specifications
Flat steel width: 20-200mm
Flat steel thickness: 2-10mm
Flat steel spacing: 18-300mm
Twist steel spacing: 30-300mm
All specifications can be customized based on customer requirements.
Common specifications include:
For sewage plants: 303/30/100, 325/30/100
For power plants: 255/30/100, 305/30/100, 403/30/100
For example, 255/30/100 means the flat steel width is 25mm, thickness is 5mm, flat steel spacing is 30mm, and twist steel spacing is 100mm.
Features
Serrated steel grating is made by welding serrated flat steel, which provides excellent anti-slip properties, making it widely used in wet and slippery environments, such as sewage plants, power plants, etc. Common flat steel types include: 235, 253, 255, 303, 305, 323, 325, 403, 404, 405, etc. Due to the use of serrated flat steel, serrated steel grating is more expensive than regular steel grating, so for standard applications, it is recommended to choose regular steel grating.
Recommendation
Due to the high cost of serrated steel grating, it is recommended to use hot-dip galvanizing treatment, which provides excellent corrosion resistance and extends the service life of the product.
Surface Treatment
Serrated anti-slip steel grating is typically made of carbon steel and treated with hot-dip galvanizing to prevent oxidation. Stainless steel can also be used. The grating offers excellent ventilation, lighting, heat dissipation, anti-slip, and non-explosion features.
Production Standard
The production standard for serrated steel grating is YB/T4001.1-2007. Additionally, there are specific standards in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
Common Specifications
For small load-bearing spans: 255/30/100, 303/30/100, 403/30/100, 323/30/100
For larger load-bearing requirements: 325/30/100, 305/30/100, 405/30/100
As the specifications increase, the price also rises accordingly.
