Painted steel grating is made by arranging flat bars at specific intervals and crossbars (such as twisted square steel, square steel, round steel, flat steel, etc.) in a crisscross pattern, then welding them into a steel product with square mesh openings in the middle. Steel grating is mainly used for trench covers, steel platform panels, steel stair treads, and more. The crossbars are typically twisted square steel. The grating is generally made of carbon steel with a painted surface treatment to prevent oxidation, but stainless steel options are also available. Production Method:Painted steel grating is created by arranging load-bearing flat bars and crossbars at specific intervals, then welding them using a 200-ton hydraulic resistance welding automatic machine to form an original panel. The product is then processed with cutting, punching, edging, and other steps to meet the customer's requirements.

Flat Bar Spacing:The center distance between adjacent flat bars is typically 30mm or 40mm.

Crossbar Spacing:The center distance between adjacent crossbars is usually 50mm or 100mm, but can be customized according to customer needs.

Series Classification Based on Different Applications:

• Series 1 (30mm Spacing): A commonly used model with a flat bar center distance of 30mm, meeting US standards. It offers high resistance to surface impact. Ideal for platforms, walkways, and trench covers in power plants, refineries, sewage treatment plants, grain silos, chemical plants, roads, airports, and docks. The serrated steel grating is especially suitable for wet and slippery areas, such as offshore oil platforms.

• Series 2 (40mm Spacing): An economical, lightweight model meeting UK standards, commonly used for fixed platforms, walkways, and stairs with smaller spans. This is an ideal choice for warehouse shelves, floor panels for galleries, boardwalks, protective fences, sunshades, etc.

• Series 3 (60mm Spacing): Specially developed for mining industry applications, this series addresses the issue of mineral spills on the grating surface. With nominal dimensions of 50mm x 60mm openings, it allows most spilled materials to pass through, keeping the surface clean. These grates are often used in crushing systems, conveyor walkways, ball mills, manufacturing plants, and processing stations.
